Playground

The playground features swings, a multi-play area, roundabout and see-saw, suitable for young children looking to let off steam during a visit.

Lakes and gardens

The park's pretty rose gardens and lakes make for a lovely setting to explore, with wildlife habitats adding further interest for nature lovers. Fishing is available in the park lakes with an angling permit.

Historic features

Stanley Park is packed with architectural character, from the grand sandstone pavilions to the ornate fairytale bandstand, which plays host to events including the Liverpool Bandstand Festival.
