Granby Street Market is one of Liverpool's most beloved and distinctive community markets, held on the first Saturday of every month on Granby Street in Toxteth. Run entirely by volunteers and deeply rooted in the story of the Granby 4 Streets community land trust, it has been trading for over 15 years - growing from a single table sale on Cairns Street in 2010 to a thriving monthly event regularly hosting 70 to 80 traders. What began as a quiet act of community resilience in a neighbourhood of largely empty houses has become a much-loved fixture for local residents and visitors from across the city.

Stalls cover a wonderfully varied range of goods including bric-a-brac, vintage clothing, memorabilia, handmade soaps, arts and crafts, and a dedicated food area serving hot international cuisine and home-cooked wholesome food. The market has a warm, independent spirit and a genuine community feel that sets it apart from larger commercial markets - expect a big welcome whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time. A special Christmas market is held on the first weekend of December each year.
